On the Trail of Sniffer Dogs and the Tafia.Tidy.

Pictures from Amber Marks book launch, at the Foundry in Shoreditch.
James’ dad - aka Uncle Mick turned up and helped to liven up the evening.
I bonded with some of the Tafia and I also managed to waffle on to Pritchard (Dirty Sanchez) about my Swansea days. Oh, and my Swansea Duvet theft.
Tidy...

A Dah Dah - Dada.

Over the Easter break I was lucky enough to be accompanied to the Marcel Duchamp, Mann Ray and Francis Picabia Exhibition (for which I owe dinner for), at the Tate Modern. I saw the crack too. I like to think that I captured it from a different angle.
I got the impression that the three of them seemed to enjoy what they where doing and shared a good sense of humour towards things.
I wonder what they would have made of blogging and the internet, and would they have taken it to a whole new level?

Forever changes.

Images from a leisurely stroll, taken last Saturday.
Henry Soulsby died the day I was born, I wonder if our souls passed?

The Spurs Job.

I went for a mid week drink with Jimmy Jay - aka superhands the 2nd and Johnny Logic.
This also coincided with the Spurs game, giving the pub more of a sense of occasion.

On my walk home, I was happily listening to the sounds of Vampire Weekend, well until my Ipod went flat. Perhaps this was a metaphor for the Spurs game?

Sweet Heart of the Rodeo

On Saturday we headed to a club night called 'Sin City'
It was 40 years ago that the Album 'Sweat Heart of the Rodeo' was released.
The club night dedicated the night to the album - playing tracks from it here and there. Naturally, I soaked up the alt,country-hilly billy vibe.

I think I was more Memphis than Texas. Jesus, I can differentiate between country music styles.
