The not quite, great fire of london

Part of my clear out. I had a few old papers knocking about. a lot of it was clippings, regarding a court case with an old employer. I got my money in the end and kind of learned never to work for piss pot little publishers ever again. As for my fire. Well, it just smoked a lot. I ended up putting it out with the aid of a watering can. Disappointing really.

Big day in the calendar tomorrow. I'm not really a huge fan of the game, but I do try and follow it. My Grandad was an avid West Ham fan, so I tend to follow them, that's how it works with
football I guess. Although, I do keep an eye on Leyton Orient and I quite admire Fulham too.
I love this picture. it's from the Getty archive. I think it says quite a lot; a powerful image. I might order a copy, I think it would look good in a nice frame, inside my flat somewhere.

Hot Wheels TM

After 2 mechanics had written her off, I luckily found a new mechanic who understood old cars. I had the original wheels put back on, I also treated it to a car wash too; cleaned up quite well I thought. I gave it a test drive, Sunday just gone. So far so good. I took a picture of my nephew, Seany-Darko in front of it too. This will be one of those obligatory pictures that you find on a rainy day and you have no idea where and when it was taken.

I love keeping a camera handy.

It was Jerry Garcia's birthday, Friday just gone. My flat mate, el-Gavino informed me of this, via a phone message. I randomly caught up with el-gavino, on Saturday night. We lit a candle for him and played a lot of West Coast psychedelic-folk. The B/W picture was taken by the Michael Putland. You probably can't see it from here but, Jerry has a missing finger. Kind of makes him a better guitar player than you originally thought, doesn't it?

Quite a cool looking place. I'm amazed they are actually allowed to knock it down. Then again, they got rid of the Cyclone at Coney Island. Perhaps there just isn't enough people left who give a shit about these things. Oh well, I guess we will, make great pets then...

Walthamstow dogs stadium, will be closing down in a couple of weeks. I popped down there on Saturday, partly to say goodbye and partly for morbid fascination. I'm doing an edit of photos that I took and I do actually feel a little bit sad editing through them.
