Millennium air pocket

I found these stored in a record sleeve. They give a little indication of what I was up to in the year 2000. Going to a lot VIP do’s by looks of it. Oh well, the monies no good, but I guess I do get to live a bit of a charmed life.

Urban Morris Dancing.

Behind the Tate modern, there is the Blue Fin Building and behind the Blue Fin Building, there is a pub, called the White Hart. And just outside the pub, you will find the occasional ritual taking place of urban Morris Dancing.

ode to the old school...

In my early youth, I spent a lot of my time listening to the Capital Rap Show, hosted by Tim Westwood. Oh and I had a Moongoose BMX too. Well, until it got stolen. I still haven’t really gotten over that one.

Here’s yours truly, from the other week. Boring Tim Westwood about my recent visit to the Beastie Boys, Paul’s Boutique location.
I don’t think we, as in the UK. Really grasp just how much of a legend, Westwood really is.

I found the bike shop the other week too. These are original BMX posters. I should imagine that they would fetch a nice price, now that the old school BMX is becoming of age. Hands off, I saw them first.

ATP festival, curated by the Breeders at Butlins in Minehead

Shoe gazers
Up up and away

Tricky signing
Jaun Son in Swine Flu shocker

The Frogs
Bristol legend, Tricky

Deerhunter with the Breeders

Spiders from Minehead

I imagine that the indie geek blogs will be working over-time after such an event. Indie highlights for me were Bon Iver; The Faith Healers, Wire, Teenage Fan club,  Tricky, Breeders, Styrofoam, The Soft Pack, Deerhunter,  Kimya Dawson, Shellac, Supersuckers. and there were  two bands that I missed unfortunately. Giant Sand were playing whilst I was still checking in and the Frogs time slot was changed.
