Black Velvet

3/4 Guinness 1/4 Champaign or Carver.
Start with pouring the Guinness into the glass and letting it settle.
Next, Pour the Champaign on top. Do this gently with the aid of a spoon, this bit will probably involve you spilling a lot, so have a cloth or napkin handy.

Give it a minute or two to filter through, then hey presto. One Black Velvet cocktail.

When you hold it up to the light I find that it looks like an alcoholic Rothko.
