National Deliverance day

Did a spot of canoeing down the river Lee on Saturday. We managed to combine it with a pub crawl, or pub paddle. Apparently the crayfish are alien to the river Lee and are revered as pests, due to them eating up some of the local species. There you go, river Lee fact of the day.

Cheap camera test

I bought a cheap digital camera from Currys this morning. £29.99 gets you a Vivitar ViviCam 9126. Here's my test roll.

Captain Birdseye and I

The Birsdeye fish finger people popped into the office. This is their new bear to promote eating fish fingers. I had a fish finger sandwich deluxe, this contained melted cheese and tomatoes.

Metropolitan line

The metropolitan line's seat pattern is a little too early 90s and stuck in the wacky 80s for me. Check out the London transport museum and you can buy various old patterns that have been restored and turned into various furnishings. I quite like the District's line Misha Black, circa 1978. I think the Blur painting (below) was used on the Modern Life is Rubbish LP

The great escape

I'm escaping the desk job for the week, woo hoo... This chap will be standing in for me whilst I'm away. Oh, and what do you do if you find a gorilla sitting in your chair?
You sit somewhere else.
