Pubs with planes.

Spent Sunday in the Highgate/Crouch Hill, way.

Lights, camera and action.

I've decided to delve into the world of DSLRs again. I haven't owned one for about 3 years. The last one I had was a Nikon D200 and to be honest, I never liked it nor bonded with it. I picked up a Nikon D80 and have dug out some old equipment that's been lurking about. This is an old flash, Metz 30BCT 4. It has an ancient flash coding on the back, this makes no sense what so ever. So, I took a few light readings and here are the results. I-D, hold the front page - I think not.

New camera test.

I shot this on my new camera. Well I say new, although I bought it off Ebay. I shot this on Raw, then quickly fiddled about with the settings, whilst the sun has been shining on my face.

Welcome to the Velodrome

This is how the Olympics is shaping up. A view of the Velordrome.
This is a vaguely what it looked like, back in 2008.

Steptoe's cave.

The light was left on overnight in the removal shop, at the end of my road. Many a peculiar bargain is to be had in this Aladdin's cave.

Everyday is like Sunday, win yourself a cheap toy.

Clacton-on-Sea, on a Sunday. I think I’m beginning to run out of Essex costal resorts to visit. Still, it’s always good to get a breath of sea air, especially at the start of 2011. Onwards and upwards.

Pitsford and Brampton Station.

I took these in Northampton on Boxing Day. This train line works in the summer and there's a few trains from the great days of steam that run. Pretty cool stuff.
