St Patrick’s Day - revisited.

Popped into The North Star for their What’s Cookin’ night, which also happened to be St Patrick’s night. A rammed Gunnies fuelled atmosphere kept the place on it’s toes for the evening. On the bill was Simon Stanley-Ward, Deer Park and Serious Sam Barrett.

The moon is full and you're just wasting time. She's a devil in disguise

A picture of the weekend's super full moon . I took this on Saturday night about 10 pm, from just outside my front door. I thought the moon looked spooky, so I mirrored the image ( the original moon image is to the right ). Not too sure what Patrick Moore would make of though?

Cannonball 8000 , circa 2007

(Archive : 2007)
This was from the Cannonball 8000, somewhere in Europe. I did the road trip in a Mini Cooper. From speaking to the chaps who did the journey in the Ford GT40 (Pictured), I got the impression that the Mini was a much smoother drive. However, the Gt40 is as cool as.
Even makes me look good.

Bluegrass and Bombardiers

Made it down to the What's Cookin' night on Thursday. I caught the acts Trent Miller and the Green Rock River Band . If you ever wondered what Spaceman 3 would sound like if they went country, then check out Trent Miller. Apart from that, it's always good to hear a bit of Bluegrass in the Appalachians of Leytonstone whilst sipping a few Bombardier's.

Birthday Bonkers Drinks

A couple of snaps from Saturday’s Birthday Bonkers Drink up in Tufnell Park. Luckily, a trip to the Dome wasn’t even considered. Cheers to all who turned up.

Photos from Michael Putland’s book launch ‘Pleased To Meet You’, circa 1999.
The book was about Michael’s time spent with the Rolling Stones in the the early 70s, quite a magical moment in time for Rock’ n’ Roll. From looking at the photos I guess it was quite a magical time then too.
