This is what I love about the world cup. And the streets of Walthamstow came alive last night with Algerian fans celebrating their 4-2 victory over South Korea. They play Russia later in the week and if they win that game then they're through to the next stage.

The E17 Art Trail runs until this Sunday (I'm Number 42 please do pop by). Here's a few shots pre-exhibition. I looked at few spaces to exhibit for this year, some were already taken and others on second look I don't think would really work. I'm local to the Veg Hut and I liked the idea that I could work with the space that they had. I even edited out a couple of shots and thought about adding a few more. Like most projects you have to be careful once you hit this stage as you'll never be ready. I'll drip feed a few sneak peeks from the exhibition just in case you can't make it.

There is so much art out there on the E17 Art Trail it's almost bonkers... I took a little wonder earlier today and consulted the Trail Guide if and when needed. I have to say I'm enjoying it, it's good to see people getting creative and I'm finding it quite inspiring, I put down my art pencils a long time ago to pursue a career in the world of photography. Don't get me wrong the medium of photography has served me well and still continues to do so but you do think yeah it'd be quite cool to a potter making crazy pots.
Speaking of pots, I've just heard the sad news that Rik Mayall has passed away.
I've met him a few times via working on magazines, he even said hello to me in the street once. Anyway, when I'd feel a bit low on energy on a Friday I'd source this clip from Youtube. So fuck it, let's play it on a Monday :(

I've had a few requests about shooting macro photography and pack shot photos, so here's a light tent test. You may have seen the last figure before, I've now given him a Kodak pin badge. He's now my new lucky mascot.
