Wimbledon has the Wombles does Walthamstow have Willow the Wisp

Well it kind of feels that way sometimes. This is Lloyd park on one those warm winter evenings that we've been having lately. Happy New Year by the way.

It's Christmas

Always good to see some of the archive still being appreciated. This is from a shoot I did with Noddy Holder which appeared in the recent edition of the Daily Mail's, Event magazine. Many thanks to Camera Press  who now syndicate my photography.

The EMD Granada cinema in Walthamstow

Things are happening, emails are going out, Tweets are trending and low and behold... A sign.
Ok, it's not quite the finished job, more of a stop gap and in film-esque style, let's treat it as a
relic from the Third Man. Yes, Walthamstow's EMD/Granada cinema finally gets some form of airing with a Antic pop-up bar . I'll keep you posted or if you visit before me then keep me posted.

Red in the morning shepherds warning

This was an early sunrise in sunny-old Walthamstow. That's the town hall tower in the distance.

Walthamstow market

Walthamstow used to be renowned for it's wonky Christmas tree, it was up there with the leaning        tower of pisa. Now that there has a been a few redevelopments (all for the good I may add) I'm not quite sure if or where it's existence will be. Watch this space...

Parallele lines

Hard to believe that this is roughly 100ft away from the glamorous world of the city of London. I'm   guessing this part of Aldgate will soon get swallowed up.

Autumnal adventures in Epping Forest

Forests can be quite dreamy and enchanting places, especially at this time of year. Luckily we didn't bump  into any werwolves or catch a sighting of the ghost of Dick Turpin.

The Bloody Chamber

Epping Forest in all its autumnal glory. Grab your wellies and explore the place. Just be careful of the goblins and werwolves.

Spectre at the Curzon

A few overs from the Spectre premier at the Curzon cinema. This was a PR photography job for Omega watches. The Curzon cinema worked really well as a venue and I highly recommend that you go see a film there.

Harvest

Octobers pickings down at the allotment. Suffered a lot of blight with the tomatoes this year, some of these were okay the rest will be reborn by going back into the compost. The Pumpkins are looking smashing, Lord Summerisle would be pleased.

Pump up the jam

This is an out of use petrol station in Walthamstow. Since I've been here no one has yet built a block of flats onto it. I'm wondering if they do then will the local's start a campaign to save the unused petrol station...
